Be Kind Video on the News!

The VHS revival movement has caught the attention of the media! My friend Matthew’s wonderful video store Be Kind Video was interviewed for two news segments, and I was honored to be interviewed for both of them.

First, KCAL News (part of CBS Los Angeles) interviewed us about the “tapehead” community, and I held a copy of SMALL SOLDIERS in honor of last year’s screening at the store!

Then, the story was picked up by CBS National News, who interviewed myself & several other friends of the store. This time I wore my “Save The Video Store” T-shirt from Family Video.

Since this was a national news segment, it has aired all over the country, and Matthew has gotten tons of calls from out of state! I’m so happy that Be Kind Video is getting some well-deserved attention, and I hope more people are inspired to join the vhs community!
